I genuinely think the teaching is the highlight

“Education is the basis of everything in terms of your appreciation of your culture, your ability to make a contribution to any change in society that you might think is necessary, but also just for children to have opportunities to follow their dreams or make a difference.

Whatever country you’re in, it doesn’t matter whether you’re in England, whether you’re in Laos, whether you’re in Uganda, it’s always the same, education is the key to a better life.

It’s given me the opportunity to use my skills as a teacher of 15 years experience now to share that with teachers in law who haven’t had the privilege of the kind of education that I’ve had and the kind of teaching experience that I’ve had.

I genuinely think the teaching is the highlight. There have been lots of other brilliant things that we’ve done that we’ve seen the country. So the context is really interesting and good. But I came to meet loud people to share some of my skills, and I genuinely think that’s probably the best thing that I’ve done.”
