Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. Cookies enable us to display what matters to you, improve your experience and help us improve our services and to let us know if someone tries to access your account or violate our terms.
These cookies collect information about how visitors use our website, including the pages visitors go to frequently and if they receive error messages from certain pages. They do not collect information that uniquely identifies a visitor. All information they collect is aggregated and anonymous and is used to improve how our website functions and performs. From time-to-time, we use third parties to track and analyse usage and volume statistical information from visitors to our website. We may also use Flash cookies for this purpose.
These allow us to remember the information you have entered or the choices you make such as your username, language or region and provide enhanced, more personal features. These cookies also enable you to optimise your use of our website when logged in. Functionality cookies can also help us remember the changes you made to text size, fonts and other customisable parts of the website. Inspiring Teachers may also use local shared objects, known as Flash cookies, to store your preferences or display content based on what you view on our website to personalise your visit.
Targeting or Advertising cookies
We use web beacons alone or with cookies to compile information about customers and visitors’ usage of our website and interaction with emails from the company. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognise certain types of information on your computers, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular website tied to the web beacon and a description of the website tied to the web beacon. Inspiring Teachers may use web beacons in marketing emails that notify us when you click on a link in the email that directs you to our website. We use web beacons to operate and improve our website and email communications.
When you visit our website, we collect your Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to track and collate non-personal information. For example, Inspiring Teachers uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which customers navigate our website.
We also collect IP addresses from customers when they sign into the application section as part of our identity confirmation and IP range restrictions security features.
Do Not Track
Various browsers – including Chrome, Firefox and Safari – offer a do-not-track technology known as a DNT header. It sends the user’s browser DNT preference to websites they visit. Inspiring Teachers does not currently respond to DNT signals in part because no consistent standard of interpreting user intent or common industry standard is in place by industry groups, technology companies or regulators. We are committed to providing meaningful choice and will continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology.
Inspiring Teachers does not share customer data in other cases with business partners unless customers specifically opt into such sharing via a registration form.
Inspiring Teachers uses third-party service providers to manage debit and credit card processing. This provider is not permitted to store, retain or use billing information except for card processing on Inspiring Teachers’ behalf.
Inspiring Teachers reserves the right to use or disclose information provided by you to us as required by law or if we believe that use or disclosure is necessary to protect Inspiring Teachers’ rights, your safety or the safety of others and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process.
We will only disclose your personal information to any other third party (not otherwise provided for in this Policy) with your prior consent to do so.
Public forums, referrals and testimonials
We may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on our website. Any personal information you choose to submit that may be read, collected or used by other visitors to the forums and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. Inspiring Teachers is not responsible for the personal information you provide in these forums.
People may decide to refer a friend to join Inspiring Teachers. In doing so Inspiring Teachers will request the friend’s name and email address and then send the friend a one-time email inviting them to hear more. Inspiring Teachers does not store this information until the consent has been given.
Inspiring Teachers may post a list of Members and testimonials on its website containing information such as the Member’s name and title. When you provide any such testimonial to Inspiring Teachers, you consent to its use alongside your name and title on such a list.
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please contact us. We may make a small charge for this service. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove the information you think is inaccurate.
